Today, I’m showing you what will probably be the shortest dash video ever and also one of the most powerful, one of the quickest, most powerful things you can do, and that is setting up a Google Alert for your name, for your field and maybe for your [0:00:21] [Inaudible] names.

So a Google Alert is an email that is sent to you with something you research up on Google matching any section. And not just on Google. I can see a few others sites as well. So, a Google Alert did every – I’m just going to [0:00:39] [Inaudible]. So you want to type in “laura roeder” [0:00:46] [Inaudible] and it’s a phrase. And here’s your choices. You can search news, blogs, Web, comprehensive, video, groups. Do comprehensive to start with. That means it covers all these things [0:00:58] [Inaudible] searches for it. Just one category. All that [0:01:03] [Inaudible] once-a-day. You can also choose once-a-week or as-it-happens that may get to be on that emails. And then just choose your @gmail Google account that you’ve signed into for delivery and hit “Create Alert” and you’re done. How fast is that? How fast and easy was that?

So this is so cool. So now, you have an automatic system forever for monitoring what’s been said about you on the Web, and when you ‘re ready, you can set this up about anything, I don’t know, having those names, you can put in some keywords for market, you can put in the name of a product that I can do then a research, what’s been said about that and [0:01:45] [Inaudible] thing. This is such a cool thing. So all you do is go to google.com/alerts and run your search around. That’s pretty much it, so easy.
