I’m using HootSuite as well, and I’m very satisfied with it. So far, I’ve only been using it for Twitter. But I think, after viewing your video, I’ll be adding Facebook as well.

    Thanks.

I agree with Andrew, you sold it to me:-)

I signed up and Twitter works like a charm but I cant seem to get facebook to work…..Does anyone else have this problem? I am using IE on win 7

  4. While I heart HootSuite a lot, I don’t want the people following me on Twitter and Facebook to be getting the same message. The whole point of being part of all these social networks is that the audiences differ – so better to personalize each one (say, targeted more towards my friends on FB, business contacts on LinkedIn and blog readers on Twitter)and spend 5 extra minutes a day doing that than being redundant to the handful of people that follow me on all of them.

To the point and effective … well done.

I like the way you talked through, while you did your walk through, with clarity and precision.

I love the ‘like’ button! So many people wouldn’t mind having an “I like . . .” on their wall vs. posting a link with an excerpt and all that jazz. The lazier for your reader the better! Now, I have to go make one.

Love hootsuite.com! Thanks so much for all your info, I am just starting a new blog and you have been my savior in so many areas!

Thanks to you I just successfully updated my twitter, facebook profile and facebook fan page simultaneously!

    Keep up the great work!

  8. This will be a great time saver, Laura!

Can you actually set up a new account at a social media site using Hootesuite or do you do that at the specific social media site and then come back to Hootesuite to add it to your list?

  9. Hi Laura,

I have been learning a lot from you the last few months. Thank you so much for your lovely, fun and helpful tips. :)

Like Marian I personalise (most) of my social media updates to each outlet, but it still saves me a lot of time to be able to do them all in the same place (and, if I want to, at the same time)!
