There’s also a Kindle app for the HP Touchpad in the App Catalog.

Not only is Kindle PC free, there are hundreds of free books available too. I have over a hundred free books, mostly classics, which I need to reread, but many authors us a free kindle book as a way to kindle a fire pf sales.

I want there to be a way without using anything Kindle. I don’t want a pad or adroid. I don’t want to cart around a laptop. I don’t want to sit at a computer desk. What I want is a Kindle with equal functionality as my slick. But after reading numerous reviews, I can’t have something that’s not touchscreen with SD storage, in the dark reading, contrast control, and backlight control, besides colored book covers. Seriously I spent 50 on my Slick and it’s awesome. It’ll be better when I figure a couple of basics out, I can be techonologically imparied sometimes, which is why I don’t want a touch screen. I want a better option for reading my Kindle books! I’m a big fan of Amazon but I’m so annoyed about the reviews on the Kindle’s I could pull my hair out!
