Our Painted Picture
(Pssst, don’t know what a painted picture is? It’s a vision of where our company will be in three years, and we need you to help make it come true! Get the book “Double Double” by Cameron Herold to learn how to create your own. This is a vision for five years into the future.)
The LKR brand is homegrown and fun. People know us as a grassroots training company that delivers only the best, most up-to-date knowledge in a package that is fun and easy to consume.
We’ve moved beyond a social media training company to a tech-focused small business training resource. We believe that technology is the driver of a successful small business, and that small businesses must leverage technology to remain competitive. Successful businesses are built on successful relationships, and technology is just a tool to make those relationships happen.
Our team of experts are constantly called upon in the media to provide opinions on the small business climate. We receive a lot of press for the unorthdox ways that we run our business and the DIY spirit that infuses everything we do.
We host meet-ups for our customers. These are less formal conferences and more like huge “company picnics” where customers can connect with other like-minded small business owners.
As a team we remain small and lean. We never have trouble finding people that fit into our culture, deeply understand our philosophy and are brilliant at what they do.
Customers know that we are a family focused business, and they appreciate our quick responses and at the same time appreciate that we lead by example in not being available 24/7. We have so many stories of the fun thank-you gifts that our customer service team has been sent and the amazing stories that they hear!
We’re known as a thought leader in the small business arena. We love sharing what’s going on behind the scenes in our business, and our customers look to how we do things as an example.
The Dash has 500,000 subscribers and is well known as a must-subscribe for anyone starting or running a small business. Our subscribers largely come word-of-mouth from friends telling friends.
We generate revenues of approximately 20 million/year, and we donate generously to organizations that provide education/entrepreneurial training. We also generate revenues from our own training and from partnerships with vendors and other business that serve the small business. We love to work with like-minded companies that serve our market.
We focus on everyone in our company doing work that’s within their unique genius zone. We view our worktime as an enjoyable way to provide income to our families and spend our time in a way that is challenging, fun, and ultimately boosts up others. We’re cooperative and collaborative. We don’t take what we do too seriously, and we don’t create high-stress situations for ourselves.
Content marketing is the main way that new people hear about us, we love marketing that provides a free education and sells our programs at the same time. Best of both worlds! We have many automated distribution channels to spread our content to a massive audience. We’ve also been able to create some unique partnerships that have given us incredible exposure.
Our Statement Of Purpose
Everything we do empowers our customers, our partners, and our team. Work is an enjoyable way to provide income to our families and spend our time in a way that is innovative, fun, and ultimately boosts up others.
